TOP FIVE MOBILE APPS FOR MUSLIMS.

Ramadan is just a few days ahead and in the midst of a pandemic, it’s quite easy to get lost in all the chaos around. However, we can’t forget the fact that           Ramadan is approaching and we need to prepare ourselves physically ,mentally and spiritually. We can physically prepare with cleaning our spaces, shopping and prepping our meals. But what is our preparation towards our spiritual path?

Ramadan is the time to maximize our acts of Ibaadah(worship) and this time, our phones can be of great benefit to us.

BENEFICIAL APPS TO USE THIS RAMADAN

  • Muslim Pro
I know every Muslim has this app on their phones. Apart from setting it up to call Azaan, what else do we use it for? The Muslim Pro App is a packed app for every Muslim. It has a full Quran where you can read. It also has the 99 names of Allah where you can learn and use in making duaa among other features.
  • Dua and Azkar
This App is one of my favorite Muslim Apps. It consists of Duas to make after Salah, Morning and Evening Azkar, Daily duaa, 40 Rabbana, Ruqiya and missed Rak’ah. There’s a lot to learn from this app and it’s worth downloading.
  • Muslim Central
The Muslim Central App is a collection of preachings from over 100 scholars around the world. It comprises of scholars like Mufti Menk, Yassir Qadhi, Yasmin Mogahed, Maryam Lemu, Khalid Yasin, Bilal Philips and a host of many others we can learn the Deen from. Engage yourself this Ramadan with preachings from these scholars ranging from various topics around the Deen.
  • Hadith
Hadith is a collection of Hadith books. It includes Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan an-Nasai, Abu Dawood, Jamiat Tirmidhi, Sunan Ibn Majah, Muwatta Malik among other books. This Ramadan, use the opportunity to increase your knowledge base on hadith.
  • Quran Explorer

Quran Explorer  gives a beautiful “Seera” (translation and story related to a Surah) of the Quran. Leaving you mesmerised.

Ramadan is a means of connecting with Allah through various acts of Ibaadah(worship). Even in the midst of all that’s happening in the world, let’s not be distracted but use this lockdown period to improve and maximise our acts of Ibaadah.
